Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED Level C Blended (OFA Level 1)

This is an Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) equivalent course as recognized by WorkSafeBC, now known as the “Basic First Aid” requirement. This course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. It also includes how to perform rescue breathing. It includes using an automated external defibrillator (AED), also known as the ‘shock machine’. Courses are suitable for those looking for training for the workplace or for their own general interest.

100% attendance
Grade of 75% on written test
Upon completing the course successfully, participants will receive:
3 Year Certification in Emergency First Aid CPR / AED Level C
Duration:
4 hours online + 4.5 hours in-class (total 8.5 hours)
