Respiratory Mask Fit Testing
At First Choice Learning Center, we provide reliable and affordable qualitative mask fit testing in Richmond. Our testing is WorkSafeBC and 3M approved, done by certified instructors at the lowest prices.
Mask fit testing is required for many healthcare and academic programs. We serve students and professionals in nursing, dental, and health sciences from schools like UBC, SFU, Langara, Douglas College, KPU, VCC, and TWU. With flexible scheduling, group rates, and a central Richmond location, it’s easy to book your test with us.
We provide fit testing for a wide range of masks, including:
- QLFT Masks (Please confirm with your employer or school if these are accepted)
- Half and Full Respiratory Protection Masks
- Other Workplace-Required Masks

Certification Validity:
Upon successful completion, participants receive workplace and academic-approved certification, valid for one year. Certification is provided immediately after the test.
Cost of Respiratory Mask Fit Testing:
Fit Test includes Mask ( QLFT): $25.00 – If you bring a mask not listed above, please confirm its compatibility before registering.
Requirements for Fit Testing:
To ensure accurate and effective mask fit testing:
- Avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum within 15 minutes before your appointment.
- Remove all facial hair that may interfere with the mask seal.
