Standard First Aid Courses
Standard First Aid is our most complete course at First Choice Learning Center. It is also called Intermediate First Aid and includes CPR-C or CPR-HCP (BLS) certification. We offer this training at affordable prices in comfortable and easy-to-reach locations across Richmond.
Emergency First Aid Courses
Emergency First Aid is one of the most popular courses at First Choice Learning Center. Also called Basic First Aid, this course is available only in Richmond. It includes CPR Level A by default, with an option to upgrade to CPR Level C.
First Aid CPR Courses
CPR is one of the most popular courses at First Choice Learning Center. We provide this training at affordable prices in comfortable and convenient locations across Richmond.
Emergency Child Care First Aid with CPR/AED Level B
Basic one-day course of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies for infants and children.
Marine Basic First Aid
The Marine Basic First Aid training follows the same curriculum as the Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C program, with the addition that it is endorsed by Transport Canada. This course focuses on First Aid skills and is not designed as a water safety course.
WHMIS - Workplace Hazardous Materials
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is a hazard communication system designed to ensure workers using hazardous materials, also known as controlled products, have the necessary information to safely handle, store and dispose of these materials.
BLS Provider
The BLS Provider course is a complete in-person experience where you will learn through lectures, video segments, practice and coaching, guided by a Heart & Stroke instructor. Receive ample opportunity to apply your skills and receive feedback before the evaluation. You will learn single- and multi-rescuer basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics in a wide variety of settings, including prehospital and in-facility settings.
